Overview
eConverter is a conversion tool, which consist of multiple utility applications like time conversion,currency conversion and calculator . I understand that these kind of utility applications are hugely available in the open source software market, but eConverter provides a one stop solutions where user can do the generic conversion which is not possible without referring the current affairs.
eConverter utility consist of time conversion applications, where anyone can find the current time for any country. While conversion, the application takes care of the day light saving also, and increase or decrease the 1 hour whatever applicable. It provides a rich UI interface for anyone to quickly use the tool. As of now, it is an offline tool which uses XML based timezone GMT offset, which requires updates while the offset gets changes for any timezone.
eConverter utility consist of currency conversion applications which is the place where user can find its currency value in the global market. Usually anyone has to browse through the net to find the current currency value in the market and then calculate the value. Which is long process where the user has net connectivity to browse the current rate. This is a offline tool where currency rates uses XML based configurations which requires updates periodically.
Simple calculator is a general calculation tool, which is an another feature of eConverter.The calculator can be use to perform normal operations like additions, substraction, division, finding mod and multiplications etc. More details can be found in the tool itself.
